In a video clip that has since gone viral, Bellingham can be heard yelling:
“Our ball, our ball! F*CK OFF!”
The outburst appeared to come during a dispute over a throw-in decision near the touchline.
The incident, posted by @TouchlineX on X (formerly Twitter), quickly drew attention online, racking up over 44,000 views within an hour of posting. Fans reacted with a mix of surprise and debate, with some defending Bellingham’s passion while others criticized the language used toward the official.
At the time of the incident, the match was still in play, and no disciplinary action was taken on the field. It remains to be seen whether FIFA will review the footage for possible sanctions.
