Transfer News And Rumors

Al-Hilal – Vinícius Júnior rumored to replace Neymar in 2025

The soccer world has in the last few days been abuzz with some transfer speculations that Vinícius Júnior is about to join Al-Hilal.

According to information gathered, the Saudi Pro League champions are interested in the talented winger to replace Neymar, who has shown some forms of ‘injuring’ since joining the club.

He has not been afraid of drawing attention, especially to the club’s aims of acquiring new talents in the players’ market. There are claims that they could make a transfer bid that will be even bigger than Neymar’s record €222 million move to PSG. But in the case of Vinícius Júnior, his current contract with Real Madrid has a fancy €1 billion release clause, which makes any transfer for him both impossible and very costly.

However, even with this interest from Al-Hilal, the chances seem slim for a transfer to happen in the near future. Vinícius has a contract with Real Madrid until 2027 and has not switched his attention to other clubs, but works for himself and dreams of receiving great awards such as the Ballon d’Or while playing for Real Madrid.

Of course, Al-Hilal’s interest looks quite sincere, but, in fact, they may try a more serious attempt only in 2025.

It’s been claimed that the Saudi Public Investment Fund has taken a particular interest in Vinícius and has proposed the player a five-year deal that is expected to be close to €200 million per season plus an ambassadorial position for the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the 10 years till the 2034 World Cup. But the young striker has not completely closed the door for the discussions, which shows that he is interested.

With transfers still open in the future, all will be waiting to see how Vinícius Júnior will be involved in this in the following months.
