Arsenal set to annouce another signing.

Arsenal Close In on Cristhian Mosquera After Agreeing Personal Terms.

Arsenal are edging closer to securing the signing of Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, after agreeing personal terms with the highly rated 21-year-old.

The Premier League side have been in discussions with Mosquera for some time, and the latest development brings the deal a step closer to completion. Arsenal have been actively seeking a young, versatile defender to add depth to their backline and provide competition for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.

Capable of playing as a centre-back or at right-back, Mosquera’s arrival would help fill the void left by Takehiro Tomiyasu, who recently parted ways with the club after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.

A regular starter for Valencia last season, Mosquera featured in 37 out of 38 La Liga matches, demonstrating consistency and maturity beyond his years. The Spanish Under-21 international has already racked up 90 appearances for the club, underlining his growing reputation.

Arsenal have been aggressive in the transfer market this summer, already sealing deals for Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad), Christian Nørgaard (Brentford), and Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea). Meanwhile, the club is also closing in on a move for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres, with a transfer worth €73.5 million (£63.5 million) expected to be finalised within 24 hours.
