The teenager has been described as a “very special talent” by Paul Merson, and Anfield could be the stage where he gets the opportunity to shine from the start.
Behind him, Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi are guaranteed starters, providing Arsenal with balance and control in the middle of the park.
Attack: Martinelli’s Record Against Liverpool
On the left wing, Gabriel Martinelli is almost certain to return to the starting XI. The Brazilian has a remarkable record against Liverpool – six goals and two assists in 12 appearances across all competitions – and Arteta will be counting on him to deliver once again.
