Christopher Nkunku has finally debunked rumors linking him to a return to PSG, where he started his professional career. Apparently, he moved to Chelsea due to his good performance at the bundesliga for a fee of roughly €60 million.
Although some fans have heard that Nkunku is returning to PSG, the player reports that his main goal is to play for Chelsea. Regarding the question of his return to the PSG, the football player only laughed and said, “Well, PSG is still big, but there has been no approach.”
At Chelsea, Nkunku had struggled with injuries preventing him from featuring frequently, and he only made fourteen appearances last season. But he is still confident about his future at the club. Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has also said so much about Nkunkus, saying that he has the ability to bring goals to the team this season. Although the experience at PSG could entice Nkunku depending on his contract, he has apparently shown loyalty to Chelsea.
While he is slowly coming back from the latest injury and trying to fix earlier mistakes, the fans will want to know how he can help Chelsea in the English league. As for now, though, one gets the impression that Christopher Nkunku wants his page with the Blues.
