Fresh update on Eberechi Eze transfer.

Arsenal in Advanced Talks to Sign from Crystal Palace

Arsenal are pushing ahead in their pursuit of Eberechi Eze, with the Crystal Palace star emerging as a top target for Mikel Arteta’s side this summer. According to sources from Football Insider, the Gunners are growing increasingly confident of striking a deal for the England international, with negotiations now focused on the payment structure.

Arsenal are prepared to meet Eze’s £68 million release clause, but are working to spread the cost over several instalments rather than paying the full fee upfront. Talks are ongoing between both clubs, and a breakthrough could be close if terms can be agreed in the coming days.

The 27-year-old playmaker enjoyed a standout campaign last season, scoring 14 goals and contributing 11 assists across 43 appearances for Crystal Palace. His creative flair, ball-carrying ability, and composure in the final third have made him one of the most effective attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

With Martin Ødegaard currently the only established No. 10 in Arsenal’s senior squad, there’s a clear need for more depth and creativity in that role. Talented youngster Ethan Nwaneri has shown promise, but Arteta is unlikely to rely on him as a regular starter just yet.

Adding Eze would not only boost competition in midfield but also give Arsenal more tactical flexibility as they aim to challenge for silverware next season. His ability to operate centrally or from the flanks could prove crucial in tight games, especially in the Champions League and domestic cup competitions.
