When asked about his top three choices for the prestigious award, Neymar said:
“Ballon d’Or top three before EURO and Copa America finish? Vinicius Jr is first. Bellingham and Rodrygo tied. Mbappé fights with them two.”
Neymar based his prediction on their performances before the EURO and Copa America tournaments. Vinicius Jr has been in outstanding form, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists this season, including a crucial one in the Champions League final. Bellingham has also impressed with 23 goals and 13 assists, while Rodrygo has contributed 17 goals and 9 assists. Mbappé, who will play alongside these three stars next season, has had a phenomenal season as well, scoring 44 goals and providing 10 assists for PSG.
According to Neymar, these players have shown exceptional skill and consistency, making them the top contenders for the Ballon d’Or. Vinicius Jr, with his remarkable contributions, stands out as the frontrunner, while Bellingham and Rodrygo are closely matched in second and third place.
