But there’s still a game to play. Now we have to enjoy and give everything, but after, it will be done.”

Cherki was outstanding off the bench, contributing with a goal, an assist, and playing a key role in another goal as France mounted a late comeback from being 4-0 and 5-1 down.

The Lyon attacking midfielder, known for his flair and creativity, has long been admired by City scouts. Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano earlier reported that personal terms were already agreed between Manchester City and Cherki.
