Simon Msuva missed an open night in the Africa cup of nations.

Missed opportunity for Tanzania! Simon Msuva rose well to meet the ball from the left side of the six-yard box, but his header lacked the necessary accuracy and drifted just wide of the post. It was a big chance that could have changed the momentum of the game, leaving the Tanzanian bench visibly frustrated.

Moments later, Morocco made them pay. The Atlas Lions took the lead, going 1–0 up against Tanzania, after a well-worked set-piece move. Abde Ezzalzouli delivered an excellent, teasing cross into the danger area, catching the Tanzanian defense flat-footed.

Ismael Saibari timed his run perfectly and powered a close-range header into the top center of the net, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. A clinical finish and a deserved breakthrough for Morocco, who capitalized immediately after Tanzania’s missed opportunity.
