Viktor Gyökeres Joins Arsenal Ahead of North London Derby Clash in Hong Kong.
Arsenal have finalised the high-profile signing of Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP, bringing an end to months of speculation surrounding the Swedish striker’s future.
Following a sensational 2024/25 season — in which he racked up 54 goals and 13 assists — Gyökeres arrives in North London with huge expectations. The 27-year-old could make his first appearance for the Gunners during Sunday’s pre-season showdown with Tottenham Hotspur at the Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong, marking the first time the North London derby will be played outside the UK.
