What Noni Madueke Was Spotted Doing Before Arsenal Medical Has Fans Talking

Arsenal’s pursuit of Noni Madueke appears to be reaching its conclusion, with the winger having successfully completed his medical on Monday — just hours after being seen at the Wireless Festival in London.

Despite some scepticism from fans regarding the deal, Arsenal are confident they’ve landed a high-upside talent in the 22-year-old, whose potential could be unlocked in a more structured and stable environment under Mikel Arteta.

Madueke flew back from the United States on Friday after his involvement in the Club World Cup with Chelsea, where he featured in the early rounds before the Blues went on to lift the trophy with a 3-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in New Jersey.

However, instead of a quiet weekend, Madueke was spotted enjoying himself at Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park on Sunday night — just a stone’s throw from the Emirates Stadium. A fan-recorded video captured him among the crowd, alongside close friend and ex-Chelsea teammate Jadon Sancho.

While some supporters raised eyebrows over the timing, it’s understood that the winger’s festival appearance had no bearing on his fitness. According to HandofArsenal, Madueke passed his medical at Sobha Realty’s London facility on Monday, clearing the final hurdle before Arsenal formally unveil him as their latest summer signing — expected on Tuesday.

After a busy summer that included Club World Cup duty and representing England, Madueke is now likely to be granted a short holiday period before linking up with the Arsenal squad for pre-season training.
