Arsenal and Manchester United set to offer £50 for Barcelona midfielder.

Arsenal and Man United Enquire About Barcelona Midfielder Marc Casado Amid €50M Valuation according to caught offside.

Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado is attracting significant Premier League interest, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and now Manchester United all making enquiries about a potential summer move. While the Catalan giants are not actively looking to sell the homegrown talent, a serious offer in the region of €50 million could force them to reconsider their stance due to ongoing financial pressures.

Casado, 20, emerged as one of La Liga’s standout defensive midfielders last season and was a key figure in Hansi Flick’s system before Frenkie de Jong returned from injury and reclaimed a starting role. Despite losing his starting spot late in the season, Flick still views Casado as an important part of his squad and is keen to keep him heading into the new campaign.

However, Barcelona’s financial situation remains delicate. While the club have no plans to part with Casado, they are aware that a substantial offer could help balance the books. With a contract running until 2028 and a €100 million release clause, the midfielder’s preference is to stay and fight for his place at Camp Nou. Still, a tempting proposal could change the club’s outlook.

Arsenal had shown early interest but have since prioritized moves for Real Sociedad’s Martín Zubimendi and Brentford’s Christian Nørgaard. Chelsea, meanwhile, remain active in the pursuit of Casado, especially as doubts grow over Romeo Lavia’s impact since his arrival.

Manchester United have now entered the race, reportedly seeing Casado as a better long-term option than Manuel Ugarte, who joined from PSG last summer. United are looking to strengthen their midfield depth with a younger, high-upside profile — and Casado fits that mold.

While Barcelona have so far ruled out a sale, the situation could evolve quickly should one of the Premier League clubs meet or exceed the €50 million valuation. Casado remains a player to watch closely this summer as Europe’s elite circle Camp Nou.
